New Home Build

COTTESLOE

Given the challenge of a smaller narrow style block, it was important throughout the design process to understand what features were really important to the client. Wanting lots of natural light, high ceilings with a functional space to entertain family and friends, feel safe & secure and having a modern yet homely feel were the key points on the brief.

The main bedroom and living area is on the ground floor, along with a beautiful north facing courtyard. The first floor has a further 2 double bedrooms, WIR’s, main bathroom, and separate toilet as well as extra living space creating a separate sanctuary

New Home Build

SCARBOROUGH

The brief for this new home build was “country girl needs city home to have a farm feel”. Along with the amazing works of architect Philip Stejskal, this is exactly what she and her family got. This home has great spaces, makes great use of natural light, summer Westerly breezes from the Indian Ocean and complimented with natural timber throughout. Although exceptionally modern, this home still pays homage to the farm shed.

Extension and Renovation to 1930’s Californioan Bungalow.

NEDLANDS

With this extension and renovation the original house was kept in tact, only removing a portion of the 70's extension. The kitchen was turned into a nice wide hall and we recreated the "sleep-out" look to the rear wall of the old house. With a stylish yet functional solar passive design this home was transformed into an entertainers delight!

Extension and Renovation to Beautiful Heritage Home.

WEST LEEDERVILLE

Expertly designed by John Lewis Architects of Subiaco, our brief was to chop off the old lean-to housing the kitchen and bathroom. The extension comprises of brick and concrete with an iron roof, including polished ground slab and stairs to the first floor. This was a tricky site access with close neighbours, but the results speak for themselves.

Extension and Renovation to 1950's bungalow.

MT CLAREMONT

This beautiful, but ageing home in Mt Claremont needed new living areas and bedrooms for some extra space. Further renovations in the existing part of the home was also on the client’s brief. The owners wanted to create a strong contrast between the existing home and the new extension.

Extension and Renovation to 1930's Californian Bungalow.

CLAREMONT

This was a sympathetic yet updated extension and renovation to a 1930's Californian bungalow. We removed the rear lean-to and internal walls to provide a large open living, kitchen and dining area as well as a master bedroom with ensuite.

Renovation on Airlie.

CLAREMONT

We took this house out of the early 90's and into the new millennia. Unfortunately the home had not aged well, in particular the living area really let this house down. However we were able to help by relocating the back wall and our client now enjoys an extra 40sqm of living space. To complete the design and renovation we updated the outdoor area to further increase the live-ability of the home.

High ceilings, changing the golden floor boards to an earthy light brown, stunning custom doors leading outside with automatic louvre roof are some of the highlights of this now very liveable and very appealing Claremont home.

Full Renovation of 9Unit Block

COTTESLOE

Originally built in 1965, our brief was to provide full design and renovation with a 'beachy' feel to all 9 units in the building. We think you will agree, the results were stunning. To complete the modernisation, we were also tasked with changing the old tile roof to corrugated iron.

Extensive renovation to pre-WW1 home

CLAREMONT

After being renovated a few times before this home was in need of an extensive modern refresh.  Removing walls and installing a brand new functional kitchen the open plan layout flows onto the refurbished entertaining area.

With 2 new bathrooms and laundry, the hallway and exterior was given a total makeover to revitalise the entire home.
